GIRLS’ CLUB CORNER: The Effort is Worthwhile! Running a girls’ club can be a lot of work – it takes effort to corral a houseful of youngsters and direct their boisterous energy toward long-term character development goals like integrity, sincerity, industriousness, and loyalty. But many moms do just that, month after month, year after year, expending their energy and patience so the girls in their lives can learn about high ideals in a fun, wholesome environment. WIT spoke recently with four former girls’ club members, young women now, all of whom participated in clubs first as attendees and later as counselors.
